Isn’t That adorable? A Photo Album Of Hideous Babies

So, I finally got around to seeing David Lynch’s brilliant first film, Eraserhead. After seeing this film, aside from giving me my Halloween costume idea, I got to thinking about what other films feature grotesque babies, whereupon after seeing them – or not seeing them in one case – I have to strongly suppress the urge to vomit?  It turns out that hideous cinematic babies are actually pretty hard to come by.  I wanted to come up with a list of at least ten babies, but could only think of 6.

Check out the photo album of terrifying tots after the jump and feel free to let me know which ones I missed, if any.

The test results are in and congratulations E.T. You are the father of this premature sickly baby thingy from David Lynch's Eraserhead.

The tree baby from Jan Svankjamer's Little Otik. Even when dressed in human clothes, there is nothing cute about a tree baby.

"Hey you guys" It's Sloth from Richard Donner's The Goonies. Now really, if you remember what his mother looked like than it should come as no surprise as to where Sloth inherited his good looks from.

The zombie baby from Peter Jackson's Dead Alive whose appetite for brains instead of candy bars is perhaps the only thing separating him from the above mentioned Sloth.

Oh sure, he's a hideous man-baby now, but just wait until he grows up... I mean down and becomes GQ's sexiest man of the year. That's right, it's the ugly Brad Pitt baby from David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

And finally, the baby so ugly that even Mia Farrow almost spewed chunks into her hand upon seeing it from Roman Polanski's Rosemary's Baby.
