Tucker & Dale vs Evil Review And Trailer

Let me come straight out and say it, Tucker & Dale vs Evil is one of the best horror-comedy films I have ever seen.  Period!  With its high production value, humorously smart and original script, and top-tier acting, it’s everything and more than most of what Hollywood is currently pumping out.

Probably the easiest way to describe this film is to compare it to the comedic horror masterpiece, Shaun of the DeadTucker & Dale vs Evil however, is equal to, if not funnier than Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg‘s zombie parody.  But comparisons alone are not enough to give this film its just desserts.

The film tells the tale of two hillbillies who just want to spend some time fishing at their new vacation home in the woods.  Their week of rest and relaxation is quickly ended however, when Tucker and Dale try to save a college kid from drowning.  What starts out to be a good deed quickly becomes interpreted as something more sinister.  It is from this point on that the film hits full throttle, as countless miscommunications lead to some of the best situational comedy I have seen in a long time.

Trust me, grab yourself a sixer and head out to the theater to see this one right away.  You’ll thank me later.

You know you’re a hick when…
