New To San Francisco Theatres Starting Friday, June 22nd

A documentary on a Palestinian farmer’s chronicle of his nonviolent resistance to the actions of the Israeli army.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (AMC Van Ness)

The 16th President of the United States discovers vampires are planning on taking over his country.  He must eliminate them.

Brave (Balboa Theatre/AMC Van Ness)

Destined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom.  Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.

Found Memories (SF Film Society Cinema)

A young traveler armed with a small arsenal of cameras arrives in a village of seniors and slowly acclimates herself into the town’s sluggish lifestyle.

The Invisible War (AMC Metreon)

An investigative documentary about the epidemic of rape of soldiers within the US military.

Goodbye First Love (Clay Theatre)

A chronicle of the romance between Camille and Sullivan, which begins during their adolescence and picks up after Sullivan’s 8-year absence from exploring the world.

Oslo, August 31st (Embarcadero Center Cinema)

One day in the life of Anders, a young recovering drug addict, who takes a brief leave from his treatment center to interview for a job and catch up with old friends in Oslo.

Safety Not Guaranteed (UA Stonestown Twin)

Three magazine employees head out on an assignment to interview a guy who placed a classified ad seeking a companion for time travel.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World (AMC Van Ness/AMC Metreon)

As an asteroid nears Earth, a man finds himself alone, after his wife leaves in a panic.  He decides to take a road trip to reunite with his high school sweetheart.  Accompanying him is his neighbor who inadvertently puts a wrench in his plan.

Ultrasonic (Roxie Theatre)

A musician with hyper-sensitive hearing goes in search of an ominous sound that plagues him, but is inaudible to everyone else.
