Coming to San Francisco Theatres Starting Friday, August 24th

Alps (Roxie Theatre)

A group of people start a business where they impersonate the recently deceased in order to help their clients through the grieving process.

Brother AKA Hermano (AMC Metreon)

Two young men who have been raised as brothers look to their soccer skills as a way of getting out of their slum.While a scout is in town, an act of violence threatens to tear them apart.

Compliance (Bridge Theatre)

When a prank caller convinces a fast food restaurant manager to interrogate an innocent young employee, no-one is left unharmed.  Based on true events.

Cosmopolis (Embarcadero Center Cinema)

Riding across Manhattan in a stretch limo in order to get a haircut, a 28-year-old billionaire asset manager’s day desolves into an odyssey with a cast of characters that start to tear his world apart.

Hit & Run (AMC Van Ness/AMC Metreon)

Former getaway driver, Charlie Bronson, jeopardises his Witness Protection Plan identity in order to help his girlfriend get to Los Angeles.  The Feds and Charlie’s former gang chase him on the road.

Premium Rush (AMC Van Ness)

In Manhattan, a bike messenger picks up an envelope that attracts the interest of a dirty cop, who pursues the cyclist throughout the city.

Robot & Frank (Embarcadero Center Cinema/Sundance Kabuki Cinemas)

Set in the near future, an ex-jewel thief receives a gift from his son: a robot butler programmed to look after him.  But soon the two companions try their luck as a heist team.

$upercapitalist (Opera Plaza Cinema)

A maverick New York hedge fund trader with uncanny analytic abilities moves to Hong Kong and orchestrates a mega-deal that swiftly escalates beyond his control.
