August Poll Results: Best Biopic

Last month’s poll we asked which film you thought was the best biopic.  In our attempt to not over saturate the poll, we chose just 10 films to choose from, not an easy thing to do, mind you.  Being that all these films have something special to offer, I’m not that surprised to see that every film got at least one vote and that the overall race was a close one.  Interesting to note that even though Martin Scorsese had two films in the poll (Raging Bull and Goodfellas) that neither one cracked the top 2, although Goodfellas tied Amadeus for third, with each earning 12.2% of the votes.  In the end though, it was Steven Spielberg‘s depiction of Oskar Schindler and his list that were the clear winner, getting 19.51% of the vote, followed closely by Lawrence of Arabia in second place with 14.63%.

Follow the jump to see the full results of the poll

Can I cast a vote for the Pianist? It was really touching!

I agree. The Pianist was very touching, but unfortunately the poll is closed. However, you are more than welcome to vote as many times as you wish for the Pianist in your head just as I voted for Downfall 20 times in my head, yet it still came in last place.

Voting, voting, voting! Yeah, you’re right, nothing changes.
