Your Ultimate Guide to Horror Films Playing in the Bay Area this October

Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde (1920) plays in San Francisco at Davies Symphony Hall on October 31st

No offense to the other eleven months of the year, but let’s face it, October is truly the best time of year to visit movie theaters, especially if you’re like me, and get your jollies from watching as many horror themed films in 31 days as you possibly can.

I consider myself lucky to be living in an area of the world (SF Bay Area, that is) where, combined, the local theaters will be screening over 55 horror-related films (some of them are even FREE!). You too should consider yourself lucky. Why? Because I have taken the time to list as many of these screenings as I possibly could.
